Archive collections

Propose a collection

Since 1971, the Fondation Nationale des Sciences Politiques has set up an archive service from private donations and thus, makes  available to researchers remarkable documentary sources covering the political, economic, social, and cultural history of twentieth-century France.

Why donate an archive collection to the Fondation Nationale des Sciences Politiques?

Each year, the Fondation Nationale des Sciences Politiques invests many hundreds of thousands of euros in the conservation of private archive collections. This investment is carried out as a priority in order to make the documents immediately accessible to researchers, in respect of the Archive Law. Each archive collection is the subject of an agreement between the donors and the FNSP.

These paper archive collections are often accompanied by rich photographic collections. The digitalization of these documents will be a priority  project starting in 2011.
