Inaya is working on a history of British decolonization policy and the changing status of white settlers in Kenya in the 1960s. Inaya is a Cofund Inspire Fellow (under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement). Her research has also been supported by an Erasmus grant under Sciences Po’s Campo exchange programme with POLIS, University of Cambridge and by the Alliance grant, an exchange programme with Columbia University. Inaya graduated with a BA Honours degree in History from Lady Shri Ram College (University of Delhi) in 2014 and an MPhil degree in Modern European History from the University of Cambridge in 2015.
